Terms & Specifications

Last Updated: August 4, 2026

1. General Agreement

All sales, supply contracts, and industrial shipments of activated carbon products marketed under the registered trademark Odecarb™ are managed by our parent entity, Ode Chem LLP. Any commercial terms agreed in purchase orders are subject to these general Terms & Specifications.

2. Technical Specifications & Standards

Odecarb™ warrants that all shipped activated carbon media conforms to the technical parameters specified in the product's official Technical Data Sheet (TDS). All parameters are verified using international standard testing protocols (such as ASTM standards for iodine value, ball-pan hardness, moisture, ash content, and particle sizing).

3. Batch Verification and Certificates of Analysis (COA)

Every commercial lot undergoes rigorous testing by our specialized advanced materials division. A physical or digital Certificate of Analysis (COA) is issued for every shipment. Buyers can verify their shipment's specific analytical results by entering their unique batch code in our online QA verification portal.

4. Shipping, Logistics & Incoterms

International shipments are executed in compliance with ICC Incoterms (normally FOB Mumbai/Nhava Sheva, CFR, or CIF destination port). Risk of loss transfers according to the specified Incoterm. Tonnage capacity limits per 20-ft and 40-ft FCL containers depend on bulk density and packaging selections (standard 25 kg bags, FIBC jumbo bags, or custom drums).

5. Inspection Window and Quality Claims

Upon container arrival at the port of entry or customer warehouse, the buyer has an inspection window of 30 calendar days to verify quantities and perform analytical quality checks. Any claims regarding quality discrepancies must be supported by laboratory analysis reports from a qualified independent laboratory and sent to bd@odecarb.com within this window.

6. Force Majeure

Odecarb™/Ode Chem LLP is not liable for shipment delays or default of contract caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including port strikes, maritime disruptions, government trade blockades, raw material shortages due to natural coconut-harvest disruptions, or acts of god.

7. Governing Law

These terms and all commercial transactions of Ode Chem LLP are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Mumbai.
